Wedding of Lisa & Steve
Steve & Lisa were married on August 8th at Cheekwood. There ceremony was outside and it was the hottest day we have ever shot on. Poor Steve was pretty much soaked in his tux. The guests sported elegant fans to help keep them cooled off. This was a rough day for us as videographers. Steve and Lisa were a popular couple and the reception was packed. One of our cameras got knocked over and crashed to the ground. $600.00 later and some other bumps along the way we have completed their project.
Austin Floyd from Last Minute Wedding Planners was amazing as many little things started popping up due to the guest response and the heat. That woman works magic that's all I have to say.
The best part of the night was actually after the wedding. Steve surprise Lisa with a helicopter ride. We followed the limo to the helicopter pad to get some shots. We didn't want to miss this. It was very dark out and when the copter turned on it's propellers it was very hard to shoot. Gravel and dust was flying everywhere. Still, we were able to capture the moment for them.
We added in something different than we usually do for our highlight reels. We did not have any pre-ceremony footage but since BMW also provided their photography we included some pre-shot stills into their video.

wow this type of different acts makes the wedding or events memorable. i liked the idea of using helicopter.
