Whitney & Perry Highlight Reel

Whitney & Perry were married at the magnificent Cragfront Historical Mansion in Castalian Springs, TN.  This was our first time shooting here and let me tell you, the place was breath taking.  It was very helpful that the sun was shining and although it should have been colder out, it didn't get cold until that night.  Flowers were still in bloom and butterflies all over.  You would have thought it was a spring wedding.  Whitney was a joy to be around.  Her playful smile & just fun presence made for easy shooting for myself and my daughter.  The camera loved her & she was so comfortable around it.

We arrived early enough to get a lot of pre-shots and decor shots.  We always recommend that for our brides.  The more time we have with you and the camera the better our creativity can flow.  I can always tell the difference in editing our 3 hour shoots verses our 10 hour shoots.  Though the longer ones take more time in the editing room we wind up with Hollywood style shots versus our rushed live shots of just the actual event.  You just can't get this kind of footage in 3 hours.

Whitney and Perry did a special encounter and saw each other before the actual ceremony.  He waited for her behind a tree in the beautiful Cragfont garden.  I felt like I was watching a Clark Gable movie.  They are just so sweet together.

Whitney's dress was designed by Oleg Cassini and boy did she love to spin.  We had so much footage of her spinning and I think we used every bit of it.  She was just a picture of happiness.

Their wedding party consisted of the following members:

Maid of Honor - Megan Helton
Bridesmaids - Laura Norvelle, Sally Hamrick, Heather Hartman, Michelle Bennett, & Tiffany Holland

Best Man - Stuart Doyal
Groomsmen - David Banks, David Walker, Jason Carney, Justin Morton and Andrew Hampton.

Three weeks before the big day it rained almost non stop.  However, we are happy to report that the weather cleared up just in time and it was beautiful.  I spoke with the caretaker of the grounds and he informed me that they have NEVER had a wedding get rained out there.  Hmmmm...sounds like a good place to look into if you want to get married outside!

As Whitney made her way down the aisle she was stopped by her flower girl Hadley.  She wouldn't let her go any further.  You see Hadley is Whitney's niece and grandpa was walking her down the aisle.  I don't think Hadley likes to share grandpa.  It was so sweet.

The couple spent their honeymoon in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

And now we would like to present to you Whitney & Perry's highlight reel.  You will enjoy watching young love, butterflies and excellent song selections all produced together in a montage that will leave you smiling.
