Featured Vendor - Jessica Reed

I am super excited to post today's blog.  Rob and I met with Jessica a few months back and we just love this gal.  A lot of brides would not think of contacting someone like jessica but can I tell you I think this is the most important phone call you can make.

Your finances is such a huge part of the success of having marital bliss.  I know this from experience.  I am blessed to have a really strong marriage but as I look back over the mistakes we made the last 17 years I sure wish I would have had someone like Jessica to help get us started.  The best part of her service is IT'S TOTALLY FREE.  Yup.  That blew me away.  So, if you are vendor or a bride reading this blog you totally want to hook up with this gal.  Here is some fun information on her and her company.




1.  WRITE A LITTLE SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR COMPANY AND WHO YOU ARE:

I’m just a good southern God fearin’ girl from Middle Tennessee who comes from good people. That’s pretty much the bottom line of who I am.

As far as what I do, I’m a District Leader with Primerica Financial Services.  Primerica is the one company poised to solve the financial problems of the middle market. We meet with families in their own homes, across the kitchen table, and teach them “how money works”. These fundamental financial concepts are not taught in school. Primerica believes everyone has a right to know these simple principles – not just the wealthy! While other companies target the affluent, Primerica helps hardworking families all across North America. Through education and by offering a customized financial strategy, our clients are able to take advantage of our common sense solutions and get on the path to financial independence … and freedom!

I absolutely love Primerica. I love that we offer opportunity to kids like me that have a high school diploma and desire to be something great. There are a lot of things that I love to do, but I’m not great enough at them to be the next most famous Broadway actress, movie star, or artist. I love helping people and knowing that through the products, services, and education we offer I can make a difference in a family’s life for generations to come. And they pay me for that! It doesn’t even feel like work!

2.  WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PROJECT?

My favorite projects are anything artistic, from making a contest flyer to decorating a room or painting a mural to pretty much anything creative… or “Artsy Fartsy” as they say.

3.  WHAT DO YOU DO ON A TYPICAL WEEKEND?

On the weekends I meet with families and spend time with my own family and friends. You can usually find me at my grandparents house on Sunday afternoon with the rest of the family enjoying a good home cooked dinner and homemade ice cream.

4.  WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SUPERHERO?

My favorite superheroes definitely have to be He-Man and She-Ra. As a kid I would run around the house holding up anything that remotely resembled a sword and jump up on a footstool saying “For the honor of Grayskull, I am She-ra!”

5.  THINGS THAT MAKE YOU SMILE:

There are too many things that make me smile to list here but some Maia ( the sweetest dog ever), homemade ice cream,  Dominos pizza,  Dr. Pepper, my boyfriend Kris (when he is behaving), and my wonderful family. 

6.  BESIDES YOUR BUSINESS HOW DO YOU FILL YOUR FREE TIME?

Free time…. What is that? I am on the go all the time! When I do have free time I love spending time with my family and my boyfriend, cook outs, traveling, doing anything outside, and going out for ice cream.

7.  ANY ADVICE OR TIPS FOR YOUR CLIENTS?

My advice is don’t procrastinate. You can’t wait until all the lights in Nashville turn green to leave your house, and you can’t wait until you feel like everything is perfectly in order in your life to plan for your financial future. We want to take baby steps with you just like a personal trainer at the gym.

8.  WHAT ARE YOUR CURRENT PROMOTIONS?

 My current promotion is that I can’t wait to meet you and help you get on the track to financial freedom… oh and by the way, your customized financial strategy doesn’t cost you a dime
