Meredith & Nathan's Wedding Reel - Parthenon Reception

We are so honored to write about this beautiful engaing couple.  Meredith and Nathan were married at the Assumption Church in Germontown.  We love this beautiful sanctuary.  One of my favorite parts of a wedding ceremony is when the bride walks down the aisle.  The longer the aisle the better.  This church has a beautiful long aisle that any bride would love to make her way down.

We all know that with all the glitz and glamor of a wedding day it usually comes with a case of nerves.  Most of the time for brides the nerves are about everything going as planned with no disasters.  Meredith, her mother and her flower girl Grace (who is 2 years old) sang the song" The Wheels on the bus" as they walked over to the church.  Grace loved it and it really helped lighten the mood and put the whole experience into perspective.

THE DETAILS

The Dress
Meredith's wore a Priscilla of Boston ballroom gown in "Petal" from The Bride Room.  It was actually a blush pink wedding dress which is something I never thought I would wear before trying on this dress.  I loved my dress and people are still talking about the color and it being so different.

Bride's Favorite Memory
Meredith's most memorable moment was seeing Nathan for the first time and his reaction to seeing her.

The Cake
The wedding cake was done by The Bake Shoppe.  It was strawberry (Meredith's favorite) and chocolate.  They really wanted
something timeless and classic to match the Parthenon and The Bake Shoppe did an amazing job.

The First Dance
Crazy Love by Van Morrison (Grooms Choice)

Walking Down The Aisle
Meredith came down the aisle to Canon in D

The Color Scheme:
Cobalt blue, gray and of course, white.

The Honeymoon:
The couple spent their honeymoon in Costa Rica

What would she do different?
I am not sure i would have done anything differently, but I would have clarified a few things a little further and given more examples.
